This French Modern custom residence was designed for a discerning family of six seeking a timeless architectural statement that balances elegance, functionality, and coastal California living. The design draws inspiration from classic European forms while incorporating contemporary detailing, expansive glazing, and carefully curated material selections including natural stone, dark charcoal slate roofing, and custom steel-framed elements. 

Located within a highly regulated HOA community, the project presented significant entitlement and approval challenges that had previously stalled progress under other design teams. MSDG successfully navigated the architectural review process, obtained HOA approval, and secured the permits necessary to move the project into construction. Now in the final stages of completion, the residence reflects a thoughtful collaboration between client and design team, resulting in a home that is both sophisticated and uniquely tailored to modern family living
